Accurate and professional estimates are essential when doing costing or assessing materials. This online program will ensure project success when constractors learn estimating practices. Estimating is one of the key first steps in any construction job. The modules in the lessons cover real-life field situations to help reinforce these skills

Site-specific conditions and requirements of the regulations
How to produce professional and accurate estimates
Safety conditions on the job
On-site material placement and equiment
Labour performance and operations management
How to deal with logistics and purchasing associated with construction project materials
Effective organization and management of cost data, whether current or historical

A final mark of 75% is needed to receive a certificate of completion. 2 credits are also awarded by the CCA – Canadian Construction Association towards Gold Seal Certification
