To keep our highways safe, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations require all CMV drivers to be considered “qualified” before they operate a commercial motor vehicle. Each carrier is responsible for validating driver qualifications and maintaining records to support the qualifications.This course is designed to help managers to understand the specific requirements that classify a driver as “qualified,” as well as how to appropriately maintain the required documentation.
