Confined Spaces are common on construction sites and present one of the highest hazard environments to enter or work around. A worker needs to understand the entry preparation and what to do if an incidence occurs. This course notes the different categories of confined spaces and its associated dangers. Codes of practice and various activities around a confined space will be discussed. The implementation of hierarchies of hazard controls are presented such as engineering controls, administrative and personal protective equipment.
