The Common Safety Orientation (CSO) is intended for the personnel in the Oil and Gas industry to review safe work practices., and covers the broad spectrum of petroleum industry, instead of just the Oilsands sites. It addresses thee most-at-risk behviours by reviewing the 10 Life Saving Rules of Energy Safety Canada. Industry identified the need for a single safety orientation to reduce duplicate training. This replaces the need for the BSO (Basic Safety Orientation, PST (Petroleum Safety Training), and Egso (Electronic General Safety Orientation).
Allstar Enviro Safety is an Authorized Training Provider (ATP) for the CSO through Energy Safety Canada and offers the Classroom format.
The Seminar can be done at our facility or yours (with appropriate notice and meeting the space requirements). It is usually run for groups, upon request or open classroom format with minimum participation met.
